This position will need to be available Monday-Saturday. We are looking for someone to work some Saturdays.  Saturday is 7am-1pm.

There is some flexibility with the weekday shift. SummaryReceives, processes, and directs calls from customers acting as the first point of contact to take orders, answer questions, suggest products, resolve conflict, and take payments. Will work in the scale house by serving as the first point of contact for customers deposing of waste and scrap; weighs trucks in and out; calculates payments; checks truck loads; assists with customer needs; take or give payment; and ensures the safety of the customers and employees in the yard.

Duties include:

• Answers the phone in a timely manner to take orders and/or payments and answer questions about products
• Enter customer information, dumpster information and payment information into computer system
• Direct phone calls and inquiries to the correct team memberMaintain a professional and courteous manner at all times
• Build sustainable relationships with customers to ensure trust
• Handle complaints by providing solutions and alternatives
• Customer Service: greet customers, direct customers and traffic, enter information as needed into computer systems
• Operation of Scale: weigh trucks, instruct drivers, direct loads
• Cashiering: receive payments, issue receipts, credits and change due to customers, maintain accurate cash drawer

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in customer service, sales or related field
• Ability to build rapport with customersAbility to prioritize and multitask
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
